From Perani's page. The Velocity stick line. The top three are the V9E, V8E, and V7E, all of which will have the elliptical taper at the bottom. The bottom three are the V9, V8, and V7 and they will all come with a regular taper.

This is pure speculation on my part.

Easton-Bell has had declining sales for a while now. Moving to one line of sticks, less overall sticks, and the six month release plan allows them to spend less money on development overall, and less marketing money overall.

Bingo! Easton has radically reduced the number of SKU's in the new stick line. Int and Jr sticks will only come with one option regarding grip or clear, and I'm almost positive the P6 Parise pattern is being done away with.

Although, like Tyler said, I believe Easton is moving back to only one release per year.

Zetterberg was with the "new" covert last night. No DT1 written on it and not white with a black shaft. all back.

New curve in the line-up, P88 with a slight open toe. Perfect for the Bauer guy that uses the P88 and wants to try an Easton. Much better option for them rather than trying an Iginla.

What's the e36

Anyone???

e28?

Come on Easton.... Bring us the Darby!!!

Should we be expecting to see a retail price of $275.00 on the V9?

Amazing looking sticks. Guessing it's only the backhand side that's orange if they chose to continue that color scheme. Easton's Facebook page also has some other (less clear) glimpses of it.

fantastic news. The iginla needed a much needed boost. Would you say the e36 is more of a hedman than a p88?

Easton is radically altering their blade offerings. They told JR and I of the plans last fall and asked us not to reveal that info until we got three green light. I guess they gave others the green light before us.

Is that sarcasm or does that mean your going to start a V9E thread and reveal all?

That would be interesting. Keep Hall and Cammaleri, revamp everything else.

And make the Darby :D

He's not being sarcastic.

We've told not to say anything, but people have no problems coming on here and posting it, then we get told by the manufacturer that it's not public knowledge yet and ask us to take it down, and then those people say that we're dictators.

It gets really old.

As Colin Powell once said: sometimes doing the right thing means pissing people off. I get ya JR.
