Ordering information is located in the original post. Keep posting requests... new possibilities in the future.

Go with one skate with the shim and the other without, then see which fit you prefer. They will compress over time, but I wouldn't say significantly. Like I previously posted I attached the shims to my inserts, but don't have them permanently attached to the toecap. My next test is to see at what point I need to replace mine.

Princess goalies, full drop-ins, and other annoyances/grievances report: Monday was a weird drop-in, because this princess goalie who would go to the bench and mess about with his phone would demand that ONLY his friend shoots against him. This was grinding my reliable, funny, and overall good guy sidekick, Dwayne. Princess only would let his buddy shoot on him, talks to nobody, and generally thinks he is ALL THAT. If he wanted a private session, he should pony the $$$ and rent the sheet for himself and his buddies. Monday drop-in was just WEIRD, FACKING WEIRD!!!!! I ended up in a useless scrimmage that had zero emphasis on defense. You can only defend against three on zeros for so long before you want to bash your stick on the goal and hang yourself by your toe ties. I think I understand why some goalies HATE drop-in and stick and puck... Ended up in another 3-on-3 scrimmage that wasn't as bad and I played somewhat better. But the vibe was weird on Monday. Fast forward to today- my favourite drop-in was full, meaning four goalies. Guess who's car I see? Princess goalie. Good thing I wasn't there playing opposite that tosser... I was directed to a different rink. I kinda couldn't follow the vague directions given to me, so I plugged it into my phone. DENIED!!!! There are THREE bloody rinks in this particular town, and my phone lead me to the WRONG BLOODY RINK!!!! Arrrrrrrgh!!!!! I finally find it- not a bad little drop in. I was half an hour into the session by the time I got dressed. It took me ten minutes to get my first bit in goal. I let in a couple softies, but found my groove. The great thing is that whilst having a frustrating morning, I found another nice group to play with. Good defense? Check. Good passing? Check. Skill? In spades. Hopefully, Friday is better than the sh** show of the last couple of days. But the silver lining is the new drop in group for an off Tuesday.

All by my lonesome last week at a stick and puck. Sometimes it's fun to just skate around by yourself!

Got the new skates baked & sharpened this weekend, can't wait to use them in a game (had to use my old ones for my last game as these had just been baked like an hour before hand). I also will switch out the laces for either Elite white or perhaps yellow waxes ones soon too. From Vapor X:40 9D to Supreme S180 8.5EE. :)

I tried finding another pair so bad. Still do now, even though I'm sure my foot has changed and I have no idea whether I'd fit in them now. But that was such a comfortable skate

The mission S series was great. Only problem was that I wouldnever want to block a shot of them. Also tendon guard durability was suspect at best and the pitch hardware needed to be tightened once in a while That being said, only time Ive ever bought 2 pairs of the same skate.

Mission S400's. Skate Zone by me had a pair of S500's when I was there the other day but they were too small, unfortunately. I got really, really excited at first.

    1) Mission Pure Lites - just enough stiffness for me without being uncomfortable at the time - was probably a pee-wee. Loved the supplefit design. Also helps that I wore these at the peak of my playing ability compared to my peers. 2) Bauer Supreme 1000 - First "real" skate when I was a kid. Might have rose-colored glasses on but compared to the plastic, non-cushioned, I think they were called Bauer Challengers or something like that, these were awesome and my skating got much better very fast. 3) CCM 352 Tacks - Probably the best fitting I ever had done on a skate. Not super high tech but so comfortable. 4) Bauer Supreme 6000 - Felt ok, not great. Probably would be top 2 if I had gone with a wider size. Despite fitting gripes, leather-like liner and super clean all black leather classic design were excellent. 5) Mission L7 - Most comfortable, lightest, best performing skates I ever owned...until they started creasing all over about 2 months in. Most exciting, expensive, and disappointing skate I've owned. Here's hoping the one.7s I have on order make the list, (although it's probably not too hard to bump the L7)

I really only have two, others I've had were all good skates just nothing to make me miss them. Mission Amp Flyweight's: I got a pair from an ECHL equipment manager when they first came out. They came in for one of the players and they didn't fit so he gave them to me. Loved those skates, I still have them but the steel is too run down to skate on. I've thought about throwing on some new holders and steel and take them for a spin just for old times sake but never want to spend the money on them. Reebok 16k: current skate, I love them...so comfortable. I'm sure I'd love the 18/20k's just as much or more as well.
